Participate in Class

DUE Friday, Feb 17 – 4 points
(Saturday NOON deadline)

Class participation makes up roughly 13% of the overall grade: each week, “Participate in Class” will be assigned for 4 points of the total 30 points. Additionally, a handful of assignments like “Give final project presentation” or “Write blog post discussing three final presentations” can only be completed by students who attend class.

  • Gradebook Declaration: I participated in class on Friday, February 17. I wasn’t more than ten minutes late to class, and I stayed until the instructor dismissed class. I asked at least one question during the lecture part of class, I made at least one comment during the discussion part of class, or I either asked a fellow student for help or helped a fellow student during the exercise section of class. (4 points)

If you attended class but were either 11-30 minutes late or did not participate in any of the above-described ways, you can make one of the following declarations instead.
