I have set up a live discussion area that provides a place for you to ask questions and have live conversations with each other about the course material and assignments. You can get to the live discussion area by clicking the link below, but there will always be a link to it from the home page of the course web site.

To receive one point of extra credit, you can visit the live discussion area this week (between February 13 and February 19) and start one new topic and reply to one existing topic started by another student. Be sure the posts are at least somewhat related to the course: if you have trouble with any of the assignments, ask a question there; if someone else has asked a question, answer it; post a link to your introductory blog post; if you are working ahead, ask a question or start a discussion about the reading material.
