• Gradebook Declaration: I attended one of the security classes offered by UT Dallas Information Security Office on September 23, September 30, or October 7. I have published a blog post on my course blog that is at least 200 words long about my experience at the class. I have spellchecked and proofread the post.

I found out about three different classes offered through the Internet Security Office on campus. Here’s a link to the classes that are currently available:

If you attended one of three classes on September 23, September 30, or October 7, you can get four points of extra credit by writing about your experience. Here are some questions to get you started:

• If this was your first class of this kind, what were your impressions? Who else attended the class?
• What did the class cover? Did you learn anything new you can apply to the way you currently use technology? Was there anything they didn’t cover that you thought they should have covered?
• Do you think your fellow classmates would find an event like this valuable? Why or why not?
• Are you glad you went? (If you hadn’t received any extra credit, would you still be glad you went?)
