Course Web Site

Weeks in this course begin on Mondays and end on Sunday. A number of small assignments will be assigned each week, and the details for all assignments will be posted on the course web site two or three weeks before the due dates. In the navigation at the top of the site, there’s a link labeled “Assignments”; below that, there is one page for each week listing all the assignments (with their due dates and point values) for that week. From this list of assignments, you can click on the underlined title of the assignment to see details about completing it.

eLearning

The final step of every assignment will be a quiz inside eLearning, either a Gradebook Declaration or a regular quiz. You can navigate directly to the course in eLearning by following this link: UTD eLearning – ATEC 3361.002. Click on the “Assessments” tab to see a list of all the quizzes. The quizzes are arranged in order of due date, the same order in which they arranged on this web site. The name of the quiz will begin with the number of the week (the assignments for the second week of class all begin “02.”), and the rest of the name will match the description of the assignment here.

Course Blogs

Most of the work for this course will be published online using blogging software, and you will be required to register an account and create a blog here on the course web site. I’ll walk through how to do this in our first class, but you can follow the steps in the video on the 01: January 20 assignments page.

Some assignments will require you to read other students’ blogs. You can see a full list of all the students in this class with links to their blogs under Course Info » Students.
